The Rhode Island Department of Education annually collects a wide range
of information from schools and districts. For the past few years, the
Department has been transitioning from a paper-based data collection
system to a Web-based system (eRIDE). Authorized district
and school staff are now able to login to eRIDE and submit the following
state and federally mandated data and reports throughout the year
(sorted by Due Date). Current or upcoming data collection are indicated under
Status.
RIDE also uses eRIDE to manage the State Assigned Student IDs (SASID), the State Data Dictionary, disseminate School and District Report Cards, Statistical Reports, Frequently Requested Education Data (FRED) and a lot of public education data. These State reporting applications are indicated as State under Data Source.
