Evaluator Workshop for New Evaluators 

This four-day rigorous training (8:30-3:00 each day) will provide support and resources to help ensure that new evaluators can provide our state’s educators with high quality evaluations and feedback. The focus of this training is to prepare personnel evaluating teachers to accurately observe and rate practices, lead professional feedback conversations, set and approve Student Learning Objectives, and engage with the Educator Performance and Support System. All staff new to the Rhode Island Model and planning on evaluating teachers in the 2014-2015 SY is required to successfully complete the Academy.
