Target Audience:
Teacher Assistants, Lead Teachers, Family Child Care Providers
Abstract:
During this hands on Next Steps training educators will make connections between Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics.
Utilizing student’s natural curiosities for the world around them and the Next Generation Science Standards practices educators will learn how to enhance the inquiry process. Educators will identify opportunities embedded throughout their day to strengthen concept development in Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics.
We will investigate how the creative arts can strengthen learning in all content areas.
Participants will leave this workshop with engaging STEAM activities and resources to easily bring back and implement into their programs.
