Abstract:
In the earliest years Executive Functioning (EF) is an area of development that has its essential foundations in the first 3 years of life. The strong research base of EF has led to its incorporation into the RI Early Learning and Development Standards. This session will focus on defining Executive Functioning, the importance of supporting the development of executive function in the early years, and will give an overview of strategies to promote executive functioning.
