The Office of School & District Improvement (OSDI) will be hosting an office hour to provide an overview of the Education Accountability Act (EAA) as it relates to the requirements for LEAs and schools on Thursday, October 20th from 9-10am OR 3-4pm. During this session, the OSDI team will review the new requirements for site-based management, LEA strategic plans, school improvement plans, and school improvement teams. Guidance and supports to the field will be released next week via the Field Memo and made available on RIDE’s website. This session is designed for LEA and school level leaders who want an overview of how the EAA impacts their job responsibilities. Participants can register for one of the aforementioned timeslots (as the same content will be shared during the morning and afternoon sessions).
