RIDE will host an Honors Colloquium on October 24, 2019 on the topic of Integrating Language Supports when Teaching High Quality Curriculum Materials. District leadership teams will have multiple opportunities to deepen their understanding of language integration in content subjects when teaching high quality curriculum materials, along with building knowledge of strategies to support students reading below grade level, multilingual learners and differently abled students.
Districts are encouraged to register teams of three to include leadership representing curriculum work, special education, and multilingual learners.
There will be an hour break from 12:00-1:00 because lunch is not provided for this event.
