National School Lunch Program Training
Target Audience:
Potential new sponsors and staff at existing sponsors who are new to the program
Abstract:
The NSLP New Sponsor Training will review federal, regulatory requirements for sponsors of the NSLP, School Breakfast Program (SBP), and After School Snack Program (ASSP). The workshop will include information regarding meal benefit determination, counting and claiming meals, meal pattern requirements, resource management, procurement, etc. In addition, initial paperwork to become a sponsor will be distributed and reviewed to those interested in becoming new sponsors of the NSLP.
