This consecutive 2 day workshop (Day 1: 8:30 – 3:00; Day 2: 8:30 – 3:00) is intended for personnel evaluating teachers who previously completed the full four-day summer academy training. The focus of the two days will be on using evaluation data to inform professional learning. Sessions will include the following topics: using data systems to inform decisions, using student data to guide SLOs/SOOs, using SLO formative data to provide feedback, guidance and support, and using summative evaluation data for individual and school-wide planning. Sessions will also include the sharing of the Best Practices Suite of Resources and Protocols, implementation of the Support Professional Evaluation and Support System, and a review of model refinements.

Audience: This two-day training has been developed to support all personnel who evaluate Assistant Principals, Teachers, and Support Professionals using the Rhode Island Models of Teacher, Support Professional, and Building Administrator Evaluation.
