EPSS District Config. Admin. Sessions- All LEAs     

Target Audience:
District Administrators, other key staff who play a role in managing the evaluation process at the district level.

Abstract:

Note- All LEAs using the EPSS will need to identify at least one District Configuration Administrator and are encouraged to attend one of the training sessions offered.

Content Overview:  The purpose of the District Configuration Administrator training sessions is to prepare participants to use the EPSS effectively to manage and monitor the evaluation process at the district level.  The session will include hands-on practice in the system. Each session will cover the following topics: Critical set-up tasks and deadlines for the beginning of the school year; How RIDEmap roles impact EPSS access and how to manage them; Assigning and updating evaluation caseloads for principals and other evaluators; Using the EPSS to evaluate school leaders (will highlight key system improvements for SY 2013-14); Reporting at the building and district levels; Supporting LEA staff, including setting up EPSS trainings in the EPSS sandbox and an overview of key functions that support professionals, teachers and principals using the EPSS will need to know.
