This session is being offered to provide technical assistance to LEAs submitting proposals for McKinney Vento Homeless Education Grants. An RFP has been issued for the 2022 McKinney Vento Homeless Education Grants.

RIDE will  award grants to promote the identification, enrollment, attendance, and success of homeless children and youth in school.

All Rhode Island LEAs with homeless students enrolled in their district are eligible to apply. This program is 100% federally funded. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. The amount of individual grants awarded will be contingent upon the need of the LEA for assistance and the quality of the application submitted. Deadline for submission of proposals is August 12, 2022.
