RIDE - important! Duplicates found in Spring Rosters |

| This message is sent to all LEA personnel who are preparing and submitting the Spring rosters to RIDE.
For the very first time in history, we are using the RIDE assigned student IDs (SASID) to ensure that students are not reported more than once, within the same district AND across districts.
Among the LEAs who have already submitted the rosters, we found many students being reported more than once, some by the same district or by more than one district.
We also found a few cases where the same SASID is assigned to more than one student resulting a different kind of 'duplicate'.
We have just now given you this useful tool to check and correct the duplicates before you sign off the rosters. To run the duplicate check, simply click on 'Check for Duplicates' on main page of the Spring Rosters application and follow the instructions on how to resolve duplicates.
