ELA CCSS for Teachers of Students with Significant

Target Audience:
Teachers of Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities

Abstract:

In preparation for the transition to the Common Core State Standards and the assessments aligned to those standards, RIDE is providing an all-day session for teachers to learn tools to study the ELA Common Core State Standards. This session will give teachers a foundational understanding of the ELA CCSS so they can continue to study the CCSS in their schools and districts. With the tools learned, teachers will be able to study the CCSS back in their schools in order to develop lessons and other instructional materials for students with significant cognitive disabilities.
