Supporting Children with Disabilities within Inclu     

Target Audience:
Identified Preschool Special Education Teachers

Abstract:
This half-day session is the first in a series of professional development opportunities for early childhood special educators in our public schools.  The series has been designed in connection with the improvement efforts currently underway in districts and supported by RIDE’s Technical Assistance project. This initial session will provide an introduction to Rhode Island’s vision for supporting young children with disabilities within high quality inclusive preschool environments and an initial look at evidence based practices within the areas of access, participation and support.  We encourage all early childhood special education teachers from our TA districts to attend.
