Using RI SEL Standards: Competencies for School an     

Target Audience:
General and Special Educators, Social Workers, Psychologists, Administrators and Students in Preservice Programs

Abstract:

This interactive workshop will present the newly-endorsed RI SEL Standards: Competencies for School and Life Success. Come and learn about the standards and how they connect to work you are already doing! SEL is NOT "one more thing, but connects to all of your current instruction and supports academic rigor.

Participants will review the standards and learn new ways to use the SEL Standards with all students - in general education, in special education, and those needing additional supports. SEL is important for students planning to attend college as well as those going directly into the workforce!
