This four-day rigorous training (8:30am-3:30pm each day) will provide support and resources to help ensure that new evaluators can provide our state's educators with high quality evaluations and feedback.  The focus of this training is to prepare personnel evaluating teachers and/or support professionals to accurately observe and rate practice, lead professional feedback conversations, set and approve student learning/outcome objectives, and engage with the Educator Performance and Support System.  All staff new to the Rhode Island Model and planning on evaluating teachers and/or support professionals in the 2015-16 school year are required to successfully complete this academy.

This four day session is from Monday, July 13th to Thursday, July 16th from 8:30am-3:30pm each day.  It will be held at Coventry High School, 40 Reservoir Road, Coventry- Knotty Oak Room.  Participants should bring a laptop and their RIDEMap log-in information. All four days are required.
