Common Printing Issues

1. Why won't the background colors/shading and patterns print?
Many browsers are defaulted not to print background colors, shading, or graphics. The charts are designed so that they can be understood without the visual aids of color and background patterns. If you wish to print the backgrounds, you must set your browser preferences to print backgrounds. On Windows computers using Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Choose the Advanced tab, scroll down the list to Printing and check the box for "Print background colors and images." Click OK.

2. Why are the tables cut off at the right and/or the bottom?
If this happens, you should go to Page Setup... in the File Menu and set your margins to 0.25" and turn off headers and footers.

3. Why doesn't the Print button on the page work?
The in-page Print function does not work for Mac users using Microsoft Internet Explorer as their browser. You can print the traditional way by going to the File menu and choosing Print.

4. How do I change the orientation of the printed pages?
To print horizontally (landscape), first go to the File menu, choose Page Setup... and select the radio button within the 'Orientation' heading that shows landscape. Then print.
