Tech Prep  Recognized programs that offer at least four years sequential course work at secondary and post-secondary levels to prepare students for technical careers. Formal articulation agreements result in award of associates degree or certificate after two years of post-secondary training. 
Career & Technical Education  Sequence of courses to prepare students for an occupation; programs are state approved and/or offered at career and technical centers and or community college. 
Career Academy  Prepares high school students for both college and careers; structured on small learning community, college prep curriculum with career theme, and partnerships with employers, the community, and local colleges. 
Vocational Education  Organized educational programs, services, and activities related to preparing individuals for paid or unpaid employment or additional preparation for a career that does not require baccalaureate or advanced degree.
