RIDE is launching a very important series of “Building a Data-Ready District” seminars as part of the Data Quality initiative. The second seminar is open to all IT Directors, Data Managers, and other data entry/collections staff (at your discretion), and will provide a general introduction to data quality along with a presentation on best practices and challenges related to enrollment census collections. This session will include additional content on best practices and challenges in small districts and charter schools. Districts can attend one or both sessions. Seminars will include:

• Guidance and best practices related to data quality and enrollment census submission
• Group-led discussion around the challenges in actually implementing best practices
•  Resources to take back to the district
