Data Managers, IT Directors,and Data Entry Staff

Abstract:
Dear IT Directors and Data Managers, As many of you are aware, RIDE is launching a very important series of “Building a Data-Ready District” seminars as part of the Data Quality initiative. The decision has been made to reschedule our first seminar to November 1st from 9a-11a at RIDE to accommodate all districts. The first seminar is open to all IT Directors, Data Managers, and other data entry/collections staff (at your discretion), and will provide a general introduction to data quality along with a presentation on best practices related to the enrollment census. The second seminar to be scheduled in the following weeks will cover the same content with a focus on best practices and challenges in small districts and charter schools. Districts can attend one or both sessions. Seminars will include: ·         Guidance and best practices related to data quality and enrollment census submission·         Group-led discussion around the challenges in actually implementing best practices·         Resources to take back to the district·         RIDE technical staff on hand to answer questions
