Abstract:
In this session, our presenter will discuss children’s development of social and emotional skills and the inclusion of this necessary component as it relates to all aspects of curriculum. This session will feature strategies for creating a positive emotional climate in the classroom that will proactively avert the onset of behavior challenges. Participants will explore the connection between children’s behavior and their progress on the social and emotional continuum and the strong relationship between classroom environments and children’s behavior.
