The initial launch of the statewide IMS is scheduled for early September, 2012. The state is employing a train-the-trainer model to facilitate the deployment of the IMS within LEAs. LEAs may choose to deploy the IMS immediately after launch or on their own timetable after that. In order to deploy the IMS in Fall 2012, LEAs choosing to use the IMS will need to provide staff to be trained as trainers during Spring 2012. Lunch will not be provided. Please plan on bringing lunch or buying one locally.

Number of LEA Trainers from each LEA: RIDE, along with GlobalScholar, will train up to 3 LEA for Primary IMS. Please select only one session from the list below to register for training.

Selecting Appropriate Personnel to be LEA Trainers: Primary IMS: Should be educators who have working knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment activities and have the skills and availability to train End Users.
